Kathleen’s research explores person-centred approaches to weight loss. Kathleen’s key interest areas include individual difference, human-computer interaction (HCI) and health behaviour change.

In her doctoral research, Kathleen works with participants and healthcare providers of eHealth weight loss interventions to understand how to deliver health interventions in a personally-relevant, engaging and effective way. Her research provides insights into how digital health interventions are implemented, and how they can be adapted to better meet the needs of patients.

Kathleen’s research is supported by an Irish Research Council Enterprise Partnership Postgraduate Scholarship.  This award and research is in collaboration with S3 Group, a connected health business that delivers personalised eHealth interventions.
